Hi, My name is Martin and I’d like to Welcome you and thank you for being here.  I am a Retail Forex trader in the

UK, and by Retail I mean I trade from home, and do not work for any large bank or financial house. 

Since you’re reading this, I would imagine that you’re either just starting out in Foreign Exchange trading (Forex, or FX for short), or maybe been in it a while, but still searching for a solution to finally reach your goal of trading Forex and attaining the aim of financial success and freedom.

I can tell you that learning Forex has to have been one of the most exciting periods in my life, but it has also ranked as the toughest too.  If anybody tells you Forex is easy, I would be inclined to treat that information with care!  I am sure you have read many times about how easy it is to make money out of the the Forex Market, generally in 1hr, and then having the rest of the day to play golf or whatever it is you like to do……………. well, in reality, for the majority (of which I am one), it takes time and dedication to achieve.

Then you have the new Forex Trader, who also says it’s easy!  So you ask yourself …………….  ’well, if it’s that easy, why can’t I make it work?  It must be me’!   And, you know what, you would be absolutely correct,  but I would ask you to consider this……..   I’m sure we have all, at some time in our life, probably put on a front to make ourselves look a little smarter or a little braver in front of people…. right?  You know, the occassions like your driving test, or maybe interviews!  Your family and friends, keen to know how things went, ask excitedly, and you respond “ah, it was a breeze, real easy, no problem”, when in reality, it was really hard!  Now, don’t get me wrong, like the driving tests and interviews, some people do find certain things easier than others, but the likelihood is, most will find learning Forex pretty tough….  For sure there’s a reason that it is quoted that 95% of Retail Traders lose money in Forex!  My point is, don’t believe all you hear, focus on what YOU can do, and let the others worry about themselves.  When I did, things started to change.

So, through this blog, I am going to share with you lessons from my own personal journey - the good, the bad, the pitfalls, the things I did and didn’t need to do, the things I did and wished I’d done earlier, as well as things that have proved to me to be key in successfully trading Forex.

This is a place where I hope you will find answers, solutions, networks, and much more that you may be seeking to help you on your way to ‘Conquer Forex’
